Eclectika: Lure of ephemeral beauty
27/12/12 || jaimeviejo
This band is pretty terrible, let me tell you why: the production is just bass, they use a miserable sounding drum machine, black metal vocals are flat and weak, the guitar tone is typical modern line 6 cheesiness and the songs are just forgettable at best. Alexandra Lemoine’s operatic vocals are good but they don’t fit at all with the music and the screams. The industrial/programmed parts like the intro “Through the supernova remnant” are well arranged and sound more than decent. That’s it.
Boring black metal vocals+ good female vocals+ demo sounding production+ mid tempos+ sleepy riffs+ poor soulless drum machine= Eclectika – Lure of Ephemeral Beauty
2/10: Don’t get mad.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
